15th Sunday After Pentecost
The Great Commandment

The Miracle performed by the Archangel Michael at Colossus, later called Chone.
The synaxarion says about this miracle, "The leader of the angels, Michael has appeared as a new Noah, saving his own nave. On the sixth, by a miracle, he made a rock appear as a shield before the advancing flood."

Scripture Memory

“For God who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of [Jesus] Christ” (2 Cor 4:6).

“He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment’”

(Mt 22:37-38).
